Mr. Judson Cox
Hello Students, Parents, Pepperell Community, Alumni, and Guests!
It’s a GREAT day to be a Pepperell Dragon, and it is indeed an honor to be the principal of PEPPERELL HIGH SCHOOL!
The faculty and staff are committed to providing students with an enriching and challenging experience while in high school - an experience that will prepare them for the many opportunities that await them post high school graduation. As the principal of Pepperell High School please join me in promoting and expecting EXCELLENCE / SUCCESS for all Pepperell stakeholders.
Mr. Cox graduated from Model High School. In 2002, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Jacksonville State University in Interrelated Special Education. He earned his Masters of Education degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment and his Educational Specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University in Educational Leadership.
He has been a part of the Floyd County Schools for 21 years. He has taught special education at Armuchee Middle, Coosa High, and Pepperell High. He has previously coached basketball and football at Coosa High and Pepperell High. He is very pleased to be here to continue to serve the Pepperell community!

Dr. Jeremiah Veillon
Assistant Principal
Dr. Jeremiah Veillon returns to Pepperell High School this year as Assistant Principal, bringing over 16 years of experience serving students in Floyd County. He began his career teaching mathematics at PHS in 2009 after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Shorter University. He later transitioned to the College and Career Academy, where he served as a math teacher, Assistant Principal of Curriculum, and County Dual Enrollment Coordinator. In addition, Dr. Veillon has taught as an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities.
A native of Mamou, Louisiana, a small rural town in the heart of Cajun Country, Dr. Veillon was raised with a deep appreciation for faith, family, and food. He and his wife, Melissa, have been married for 27 years and are proud parents of five children, four sons and one daughter, as well as several grandchildren.
Dr. Veillon also holds advanced degrees from Piedmont College, Lincoln Memorial University, and Kennesaw State University.

Assistant Principal
After completing her first year as Assistant Principal at Pepperell High School, Ms. Cole is proud to call Pepperell home. She has enjoyed working alongside an exceptional faculty, dedicated staff, supportive families, and outstanding students who make Pepperell a special place. Through a focus on building relationships, supporting instructional excellence, and fostering a positive school culture, she remains committed to helping every student succeed.
"My first year at Pepperell has been incredibly rewarding," said Cole. "This school is truly a special place because of its people. I am grateful to be part of a team that is passionate about students and committed to excellence. I look forward to continuing to build strong relationships and helping every Dragon reach their full potential."
