Emma Kate Owen was named as the Valedictorian for the PHS Class of 2025, while Ella Rhodes was named the Salutatorian in a special ceremony Thursday morning.
Pepperell High School student Danny Wilson correctly spelled “cactus” and then “sword” to win the Floyd County Schools (FCS) District Spelling Bee Wednesday morning at Armuchee High School.

You can preorder the 2025 edition of The Dragon yearbook by going to dragonyearbook.com. Preordering by January 24th guarantees that you will receive a yearbook when it arrives in May. We will continue to sell yearbooks after January 24th while supplies last. After we sell out, we will start a waiting list in case the yearbook company sends us any extra copies from the plant. Yearbooks are currently $85.
PHS was one of the Floyd County Schools recognized today by State of Georgia School Superintendent, Mr. Richard Woods, for outstanding growth demonstrated in Math. On our most recent EOCs, PHS was the highest-scoring public school in Georgia in Algebra I.
After all votes have been collected and tallied, the following candidate has been selected to serve as the new Parent Representative on the Local School Governance Team, for academic years 2023-2025.
Each year, as part of our required actions associated with being a Title I Campus, we are to send out notification indicating our status.
